Birding, ecology, & natural history trips

For over twelve years, I have led birding and natural history trips for a variety of organizations as well as for private clients. I am passionate about helping others find the birds they want to see, improving their identification skills, and learning more about the birds, habitats, and ecosystems around them.

My primary expertise lies in ornithology, ecology, resource management, and applied conservation. I have birded extensively in North America, covering 49 states and 5 Canadian Territories, and also have experience in over 20 other countries- from the Caribbean, to Central and South America, South Africa, and southeast Asia. More than anything, I love sharing the joy of birds and nature with others- and I learn something new myself nearly every time I go out!
